BOTTLE vs. DRAFT "Just the Facts ma'am" Flavor: Draft Beer is almost never pasteurized while bottled beer is almost always pasteurized. Pasteurized bottled beer is packaged at very high temperatures that kill the natural beer flavors. Draft beer on the other hand goes direct from brewing, skipping the pasteurization process, into the keg. Since it is unpasteurized, it is kept refrigerated below 42 degrees, maintaining its Brewery Fresh Flavor. This is how the brewers wanted you to enjoy their beer, fresh from the brewery with no altering of taste. So if you're a full flavor type person, the only way you want to enjoy the extra treat in flavor it with brewery fresh draft beer. Enviroment: Keeping bottles and cans out of the land fills and recycling centers saves resources. Be kind to our planet and drink draft beer from a reuseable glass. Every little effort helps. Value: Packaging costs are less with draft than with bottled beers and this savings is passed on to you. This is why we can give you up to a third MORE draft beer for the same price or less, than in bottled beer.
